Darrell Marshall

I have known Darrell Marshall for several years now. I've had the opportunity to observe him in many settings and I've watched as he has embraced the Refiner's fire in a genuine desire to be purposed after God's own heart. I've seen his music grow and become a tool in ministering to the body of Christ. I sense a calling on his life to lead people into a deeper understanding of what it means to abide in the life changing presence of the Lord. Darrell's music ability is obvious. What becomes more obvious as you begin to know him is his surrendered heart and great desire to share God's goodness through words and music.

My name is Carlos Ayala; my wife Yasha and I had the good fortune of meeting Darrell when he sang with the Heritage Singers at Loma Linda in November of 2002. He had recently lost his wife in a tragic accident and was struggling through the pain, but still was able to be an incredible inspiration through his message and his unique singing talent. Recently he came to the Phoenix area and sang at a couple of churches and again, it was a tremendous blessing. I have every CD he has produced and listen to them often. I know the Lord is using Darrell to win more souls for the Kingdom though his Southern Gospel Concerts and his heartfelt testimonies. We had the pleasure of taking him on a tour of the Grand Canyon in March when he was here and I can truly say I had the time of my life for those few days he was there.

The Heritage Singers have had the opportunity to work with Darrell Marshall for a number of years. I encourage you to invite him to share his inspiring testimony with your congregation. There is no doubt that all who attend will be blessed by his genuine love for Jesus...his beautiful mellow voice...his sweet humble spirit and his powerful and touching story.

Over the last several years, it has been my privilege to minister with Darrell Marshall. I always enjoy it when he travels with the 3ABN team. Not only does he have one of the easiest voices to listen to but he also has a unique sense of humor that never fails to bring peals of laughter from the group. But, it's the heart behind the humor that I respect. I've been awed by Darrell's rapid spiritual growth following the tragic death of his wife. Instead of sinking into self-pity, Darrell developed a deep dependency on God and an unshakable faith. I am honored to give the ministry of Darrell Marshall my highest recommendation. Without fail, as he ministers in song, the Holy Spirit reaches out through the melody of Darrell's voice to touch the hearts of hurting people.
